Busitema University in partnership with Mbale Regional Referral Hospital, Mbale College of Health Science and Seed Global Health won a grant whose aim was to strengthen faculty, Health workers and student capacity to deliver quality emergency care for maternal, neonatal, and child health conditions and build health professionals’ skills to advocate for improved emergency care across the country. The grant’s main objectives included: Objective 1: Faculty and preceptors utilize new skills in training and provision of emergency care of maternal, neonatal, and child health conditions between 2019-2025 Objective 2: Students demonstrate skills in the provision of emergency care for maternal, neonatal and child health conditions between 2019-2025 Objective 3: Faculty adopt skills to produce, disseminate evidence and advocate for a conducive policy environment for emergency care of maternal, neonatal and child health between 2019-2025. |
